Jacob Lamothe
A Rhode Island Native, I now call Down-City Providence home; photography is as easy as the bottom of my elevator and there are few places you’ll see me without a camera. My journey to the lens started with a college graduation Pentax K1000 from local film lab Kerry’s Warwick Photo, a long time friend of mine and the family.
I am a student of Economics, currently enrolled in my Masters education. My research interests start with providing empirical research to support policy change for marginalized communities and topics. Behind the lens I seek to do something to a similar effect, tell a story otherwise untold.
I currently describe myself as a blend between documentary and street photography, but am eager to step into the world of portrait and stand-up comedy photography.
